ezybills ("we", "us") provides a tool for turning messages, photos, or notes into professional invoices. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, used to create and secure your account (via Supabase Auth, and optionally Google Sign-In).
- Invoice content: business and client names, addresses, contact details, line items, amounts, and any photos or text you submit to generate an invoice.
- Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your card details — Paystack handles that directly.
- Usage data: we use privacy-friendly analytics (Umami) to understand traffic and referrers. This does not use cookies or track you individually across sites.
How we use your information
- To generate invoices from the content you provide, using Anthropic's Claude API to interpret your message or photo.
- To save your invoice history and client list so you don't have to re-enter them.
- To process subscription payments and manage your account tier.
- To enforce free-tier usage limits (tracked by account and, for guest use, by IP address).
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run ezybills:
- Anthropic — processes the content of your invoice requests to extract structured invoice data.
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication.
- Paystack — processes subscription payments.
- Railway — hosts our application servers.
Data retention
Your invoices and saved clients are kept until you delete them or close your account. You can request full account deletion at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@ezybills.app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
